Artists Bio:

Thomas McGuire (b. 1999), a.k.a. Cameron Theodore, is a New York–based artist whose paintings exist at the intersection of humor, nostalgia, and subversion. Often blurring the boundary between the painter and the painted, his work stages collisions between his own lived reality and the worlds of cartoons, and pop culture.

McGuire’s canvases oscillate between sincerity and satire—playful yet poignant, they probe themes of lost youth, innocence, and the fragile whimsy of childhood. By repurposing and reframing familiar imagery, he invites viewers into a space where the absurd and the heartfelt are inseparable.
